Introduction:
The plasma membrane contains large amount of water; thereby, leading to high concentration of hydrogen within cell. The proton pump is a transmembrane protein involved in proton transport from a low region of concentration to a high concentration region across the cell membrane, mitochondria and other cell organelle.
