Introduction: Asexual reproduction is a common mode of reproduction found in plants in which a single parent can give rise to the offspring. In such mode of reproduction, a part of the plant becomes separated from the parent and grows into a genetically identical plant through mitosis. Certain plant parts such as stem, root, leaf, and buds are modified to perform specific functions.
