Introduction: Body size and brain weight are parts of the brain. They do have major importance in development. The relationship between body size and brain is not quite linear. The animals which have larger body size will spontaneously have a larger size of the brain.

Explanation of Solution

The relationship between body size and brain weight follows two completely separate functions for both cold and warm-blooded animals. However, if the metabolism of the brain is chosen, then the similarity between cold and warm-blooded animals are only 2 to 8% for the brain and spinal cord. The larger animals require more neurons to form their own bodies and control the muscles. Hence, the ranking of animals depends upon the size of the brain which is observed in the animal’s behavior.
