Introduction:

Territoriality is the behavior of an animal that claims an area and defends it from other species. The area could be hundreds of kilometers or just a small area. It is meant for itself or a herd or swarm of animals. It defends its territory year around as it is its source of food and shelter. It also is used for attracting a mate, breeding, and raising offspring.
