Spiracles are respiratory organs which help in the exchange of the gases in the oxygen and carbon-dioxide. It occurs in the pupa of Atlas moth (Attacus atlas). The concentration of the gases in the tracheae of the insects was studied by three scientists namely Hetz, Bradley and Stefan K.
