Introduction:

Soil crusts are made due to impacts of trampling and raindrops. In this, the soil hardens due to accumulation of salt and silt. It usually coexists with biological soil crusts that is formed due to organic matter decay and manures on the top soil. The impacted soil crusts reduce water infiltration and can cause erosion when disrupted.
