Occurrences of a specified character

Program Plan:

• Import necessary stream packages into program.
• Define the class named “Main”.
  • Define main method.
    • Initialize the object “obj” for “Scanner” class.
    • Prompt and get the input value from user.
    • Split the individual character and store the result in “ch” variable.
    • Call the “count()” to count number occurrences of specified character.
    • Print the resultant value on screen.
  • Define the method “count()” which takes “str” and “a” as parameters.
    • Call the “toCharacterArray()” method and return the result.
  • Define the method “toCharacterArray()” which takes array list “list” as parameter.
    • Declare the character variable “ans” in type of character.
    • Using “for” loop, assign all list values into “ans[]” variable.
    • Return the value of “ans”.
