Explanation of Solution
Isotopes have common chemical properties but differ in their physical properties. The chemical properties are determined by the number of protons and electrons an atom of an element. An isotope only differs in the number of neutrons it has. All isotopes of a given element will have the same atomic number (the number of electrons/protons), therefore, they have the same chemical properties because of the same number of electrons/protons.
They differ in atomic weight, half-life, abundance in nature.
Conclusion:
Isotopes have the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons.
