The structure of a cell membrane and also explain how the structural organization provides the membrane’s function.
Introduction:
The major components of the cell are cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. The cell membrane is extremely thin and forms the sheet of the lipid bilayer that provides structure to the cell. The cell membrane increases the surface area of the cell, seals the tiny breaks (damages), provides protection from outer atmosphere, and maintains the integrity of cell and act as a selectively permeable barrier for the entry of only specific substances.
