Saccharin is the active ingredient in many sweeteners used today. It is made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen. When 7.500 g of saccharin are burned in oxygen, 12.6 g CO2, 1.84 g H2O, and 2.62 g SO2 are obtained. Another experiment using the same mass of sample (7.500 g) shows that saccharin has 7.65% N. What is the simplest formula for saccharin?
