Comment on possibility of molecule having polar bonds yet have no dipole moment.

Concept Introduction:

A molecule has polar bond if there is electro-negativity difference between two bonded atoms. The electro-negativity is the tendency to pull share pair of electrons towards itself. The polarity is created if the difference in the electro-negativity is greater than 0.4.

Dipole exists in a molecule if it has polar bond. Dipole moment is the measure of polarity and it is a vector quantity (depends upon the direction).
