- Since prokaryotes don't have microtubules, how does intracellular movement occur? For an example, how do proteins move to their designaed area within a prokaryote? Also, since they do not have a golgi apparatus, how are proteins processed and distrubuted thorughout the cell? Is the DNA different in prokaryotes that give it different instructions than what you would see in eukaryotes? Please help me understand this a bit more. Thank you.
