Introduction:

Both in biology, chemistry, and physics, the activation energy is of utmost importance. The amount of energy necessary to initiate a chemical reaction is known as activation energy. In this context, enzymes play a vital role. A chemical reaction which takes place under the influence of an enzyme is reduced. Thus, it requires less energy to start the reaction than in an uncatalyzed reaction.
