Introduction: Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a physiological problem that begins after ovulation and ends with menstrual bleeding (luteal phase). It is usually characterized by psychological changes such as depression, irritability, anxiety, social withdrawal, and physical changes such as tender breasts, abdominal bloating, swelling, and headache that can disrupt daily life.
