GPA Calculator
Students are concerned about their GPA. They need to calculate it accurately every
semester to monitor their progress. Develop a GPA calculator that follows the AOU
regulations (AOU-OU Grade Scale) using C# programming language. The application asks the
student to enter his numeric grade of each course and the course's credit hours.
Accordingly, the application calculates the student's GPA after converting the numeric
grade to letter grade. The GPA calculation should produce floating-point results. Display
the results rounded to the nearest hundredth. You should store the letter grades of all
student's courses in an array. The final grade of the student should be also calculated.

- Please provide answer in C#: Slot Machine Simulation A slot machine is a gambling device into which the user inserts money and then pulls a lever (or presses a button). The slot machine then displays a set of random images. If two or more of the images match, the user wins an amount of money that the slot machine dispenses back to the user. Create an application that simulates a slot machine. Figure 8-23 (on page 539 of your book) shows an example of how the form should look. The application should let the user enter into a TextBox the amount of money he or she is inserting into the machine. When the user clicks the Spin button, the application should display three randomly selected symbols. (Slot machines traditionally display fruit symbols. You will find a set of fruit symbols attached to this dropbox for your use - from the Student Sample Programs provided by the book author.) If none of the randomly displayed images match, the program should inform the user that he or she has won…arrow_forwardWhat may happen if you hovered the mouse over an unstable section of code for a long time?arrow_forwardPython programming language You will be creating an application to calculate the maximum amount of contribution a person can make to a Roth IRA based on their age and income. Over 50 years old and your contribution limit goes up from $6000 to $7000 dollars. However, if the person is married and the combined household income is over $206,000 a year, or a single person with income over $139,000, you are not allowed to contribute. Write an application that asks the user their age and their income. Using this information use a nested if statement to calculate the maximum allowable contribution.arrow_forward
- When debugging an application, why would you not want to single-step throughevery procedure or function?arrow_forwarddesign pattern question :- Using the state pattern, you have to implement an application that help track the item ordered from online shop. The client orders an item from online shop, then item can go to post office, then it will be delivered to the user home. Or the item after being ordered it goes to the post office, then the user will pick it up from the post office. In both cases; either take the item from the post office or has it delivered to the client's home represents the end of the process. Q1)Draw the state diagram that shows all possible states and transitions? Q2) Write code of the Ordered state? - ITP 100 Programming Logic & Design Project In this project, you will design a program to perform the following task: Design a program, the STAR Movie Rating App, which can be installed in a kiosk in theaters and patrons can immediately give their rating of a movie they’ve just seen. Each theater patron enters a value of 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 indicating the number of stars that the patron awards to the App’s featured movie of the week. If a user enters a star value that does not fall in the correct range, the program will prompt the user continuously until a correct value is entered. The program executes continuously until a negative number is entered to quit. At the end of the program display: the number of ratings given the average star rating for the movie of the week the following message depending on the average rating. 3 or better – “Great movie choice!” 2 up to 3 – “Good movie choice!” 1 up to 2 – “Not a Good movie choice.” 0 up to 1 – “Bowling would have been a better…arrow_forwardWhat is displayed as a result of executing the code segment?arrow_forwardphp question Write a form validation function that makes sure the Name is filled in and uses a regular expression to validate it is just letter on the form PlayerName.arrow_forward
