Write a
BMI = weight x 703/height2
where weight is measured in pounds and height is measured in inches. The program should ask the user to enter his or her weight and height, then display the user's BMI. The program should also display a message indicating whether the person has optimal weight, is underweight, or is overweight. A person's weight is considered to be optimal if his or her BMI is between 18.5 and 25. If the BMI is less than 18.5. the person is considered to be underweight. If the BMI value is greater than 25, the person is considered to be overweight.

- (Conversion) Write an assignment statement to convert temperature in degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius. The formula for this conversion is Celsius=5/9(Fahrenheit32).arrow_forwardRetail price calculator Write a program that asks the user to enter an item’s wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the item’s retail price. For example: • If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item’s retail price is 10.00.• If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item’s retail price is 7.50. The program should have a method named calculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item.arrow_forwardDomino's Time Function Name: dominosTime() Parameters: N/A Returns: None Description: During the summer, you ordered a lot of food from Domino's. Pizzas are $12, an order of pasta is $6, and chicken wings are $8. Write a function that asks the user how many of each food item they would like, and then print a response telling them what their order to- tal will be. The order total should be an integer. >>> dominosTime() How many pizzas do you want? 3 How many orders of pasta do you want? 2 How many orders of chicken wings do you want? 2 By ordering 3 pizzas, 2 orders of pasta, and 2 orders of chicken wings, your order total comes to $64.arrow_forward
- PYTHON programming solotion Develop a program that allows the user to enter a start value of 1 to 4, a stop value of 5 to 12 and a multiplier of 2 to 8. The program must display a multiplication table with results using these values. For example, if the user enters a start value of 3, a stop value of 7 and a multiplier value of 3, the table should be displayed as follows: Multiplication Table 3 x 3 = 9 3 x 4 = 12 3 x 5 = 15 3 x 6 = 18 3 x 7 = 21 additionally Each multiplication problem must be displayed with a problem number. The program must prompt the user to enter an answer to each of the multiplication problems. The correct answer should be displayed after the user enters an answer. A message should be displayed informing the user that the answer entered was correct or incorrect followed by an appropriate motivating comment. A running record of the number of correct and incorrect responses must be kept. After all the problems have been presented the user must be informed of…arrow_forwarduse C++ programming language Write a program that computes and displays the charges for a patient’s hospital stay. First, the program should ask if the patient was admitted as an inpatient or an outpatient. If the patient was an inpatient, the following data should be entered: The number of days spent in the hospital The daily rate Charges for hospital services (lab tests, etc.) Hospital medication charges If the patient was an outpatient, the following data should be entered: Charges for hospital services (lab tests, etc.) Hospital medication charges Use a single, separate function to validate that no input is less than zero. If it is, it should be reentered before being returned. Once the required data has been input and validated, the program should use two overloaded functions to calculate the total charges. One of the functions should accept arguments for the inpatient data, while the other function accepts arguments for outpatient data. Both functions should return the…arrow_forwardBox Office: A movie theater only keeps a percentage (20%) of the revenue earned from ticket sales. The remainder goes to the movie distributor. Write a program that calculates a theater’s gross and net box office profit for a night. The program should ask for the name of the movie, and how many adult and child tickets were sold. (The price of an adult ticket is $10.00 and a child’s ticket is $6.00.) Input: the name of the movie, number of adult tickets sold, number of child tickets sold Output: as specified below Object: cin, cout, getline, format output Note: 1. Movie names contain spaces 2, the report is aligned. 3. The decimal number is displayed with 2 decimal places.arrow_forward
- Fat Gram Calculator Design a program that asks for the number of fat grams and calories in a food item. Validate the input as follows: Make sure the number of fat grams and calories is not less than 0. According to nutritional formulas, the number of calories cannot exceed fat grams x 9. Make sure that the number of calories entered is not greater than fat grams x 9. Once corrected data has been entered, the program should calculate and display the percentage of calories that come from fat. Use the following formula: Percentage of calories from fat = (Fat grams x 9) / calories ANSWER IN PSEUDOCODEarrow_forward3. Fat Gram Calculator Design a program that asks for the number of fat grams and calories in a food item. Validate the input as follows: • Make sure the number of fat grams and calories is not less than 0. According to nutritional formulas, the number of calories cannot exceed fat grams X 9. Make sure that the number of calories entered is not greater than fat grams × 9. Once correct data has been entered, the program should calculate and display the percentage of calories that come from fat. Use the following formula: Percentage of calories from fat = (Fat grams × 9) ÷ Calories Some nutritionists classify a food as "low fat" if less than 30 percent of its calories come from fat. If the results of this formula are less than 0.3, the program should display a message indicating the food is low in fat.arrow_forwardOdd Even Number Problem Description Even Numbers are integers that are exactly divisible by 2, whereas an odd number cannot be exactly divided by 2. Example of even numbers are 2,4,6,8 and odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. Input The first line input contains an integer, which determines the number of test cases. Each of following lines represent sequence of integers that ends with 0. 2 34 1 8 5 22 0 10 7 16 -2 0 Output For each test case, the output will present the size of oddQueue and evenQueue following with the integers of odd and even numbers. oddQueue 2: 1 5 evenQueue 3: 34 8 22 oddQueue 1: 7 evenQueue 3: 10 16 -2 ** Your task is to write a program that will read the input and identify whether it is an odd number or even number. /******************************************************************************* Compilation: javac Queue.java** The Queue class represents a first-in-first-out (FIFO) queue of generic items.* It supports the usual enqueue and dequeue…arrow_forward
- 17. Math Tutor Write a program that can be used as a math tutor for a young student. The program should display two random numbers to be added, such as 247 +129 The program should then pause while the student works on the problem. When the student is ready to check the answer, he or she can press a key and the program will display the correct solution: 247 +129 376arrow_forwardA Charge Account Statement Write a program to prepare the monthly charge account statement for a customer of CS CARD International, a credit card company. The program should take as input the previous balance on the account and the total amount of additional charges during the month. The program should then compute the interest for the month, the total new balance (the previous balance plus additional charges plus interest), and the minimum payment due. Assume the interest is 0 if the previous balance was 0 but if the previous balance was greater than 0 the interest is 2% of the total owed (previous balance plus additional charges). Assume the minimum payment is as follows: new balance for a new balance less than $50 $50.00 for a new balance between $50 and $300 (inclusive) 20% of the new balance for a new balance over $300 So if the new balance is $38.00 then the person must pay the whole $38.00; if the balance is $128 then the person must pay $50; if the balance is $350 the minimum…arrow_forwardCoin Converter Lab Description Write a program that asks the user to enter an amount of money in the format of dollars and remaining cents. The program should calculate and print the minimum number of coins (quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies) that are equivalent to the given amount.Hint: In order to find the minimum number of coins, first find the maximum number of quarters that fit in the given amount of money, then find the maximum number of dimes that fit in the remaining amount, and so on.
