Bones are the organs that make the major part of a skeleton. They are tough and rigid organs and are made up of compound calcium phosphate which is also called hydroxyl apatite. Bones are joined to other bones by means of a tendon which is a type of connective tissue that joins two or bones and forms structures called joints.
