Question
Chapter 29, Problem 29.8QAP
Interpretation Introduction
(a)
Interpretation:
The on-line and off-line process for SFE has to be differentiated.
Concept introduction:
When the source is directly available for data extraction process, it is called as on-line extraction method or process.
In off-line process, the data is utilized from other source that contains the copy of data and data extraction is done.
Interpretation Introduction
(b)
Interpretation:
Thestatic and dynamic extraction should be differentiated for SFE.
Concept introduction:
When the fixed amount of supercritical fluid is interacting with the matrix or analytes, it is called as static extraction method and it conserves the fluid.
In dynamic extraction method, there is always a new supercritical fluid that is used for interaction with matrix or analytes.
