Chapter 28, Problem 6IQ
Summary Introduction
To explain: Three different mechanisms by which increased size and complexity have evolved in chlorophytes.
Introduction: Green algae can be differentiated into two main types of groups: chlorophytes that includes species of more than 7,000 and charophytes that includes those algae that are related closely to the plants. The chlorophytes lives mostly in fresh water, but some of them are terrestrial and many species are marine habitat.
