Summary Introduction

To explain: The reason why the eudicot trees tend to be wider at the base than at the top.

Concept introduction: The eudicot is a clade of flowering plants that has been known as tricolpates or non-magnoliid dicots.  It is a group of angiosperm plants that are seed bearing, and produce flowers, fruits and pollen. It is also often referred to woody plants that can grow into giant, long living trees. The eudicot plant has three pores or three groves in their pollen grain and hence referred as tricolpate.
