Interpretation:
The common feature in genetic engineering and gene therapy and the thing which distinguish them has to be given.
Concept introduction:
Genetic engineering: It is a genetic modification by which make-up of genes is changed so that the abilities of an organism become beyond what is normal.
Gene therapy: It is a therapy by which a gene is changed to treat a medical disorder. An absent gene will be replaced by a normal gene. In this process, production of the protein or enzyme which is needed would occur and this eliminates the cause of the disease.
