The reason of glowing of the bulb.
Explanation of Solution
In the 1700’s; the reason for the glow of the bulb may be thought to be energy transfer from the battery to the bulb. This can be sensed with the heating of the bulb after it glows.
If one terminal of the battery is disconnected from the bulb, the blub will no longer glow. There might be two reasons for this. Energy transfer from the battery to the bulb stops. But the other terminal is still in contact with the bulb. Therefore, there must be another factor that results in it switching off. That could be the flow of a matter to the bulb from the battery. Once the flow is stopped, the bulb no longer glows. Since the battery is the source of energy, it must be connected to the terminals of the battery. If the terminal is connected to the bulb again, it begins to glow.
Conclusion:
By connecting or disconnecting the bulb to or from the battery, we can demonstrate that a flow of a matter is necessary to keep the bulb glowing.
