Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Testes is enclosed inside the scrotum that hangs out to maintain a lower temperature for the sperm production than the inside body temperature. The testes should be in 1-8oC below the average body temperature, which is approximately 37oC. Rise in testes temperature may lead to decrease in sperm production. To maintain such lower temperature, testes is surrounded by specialized veins that bring the lower temperature to the sperm development.
