Introduction:

Nutrition is the basis of all life activities, and it is taken care of by the process called metabolism. In metabolism, the raw materials are taken up and undergo the digestive process by breaking down the large molecules into small biomolecules. These small biomolecules are further absorbed by the intestinal cells and provide energy to all living things. Fats are most reserve source of energy in the body, and it is termed as triglycerides, other than fats, some other lipids also occur in humans such as phospholipids and cholesterol.
