Chapter 25.4, Problem 3CC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The effect of coral bleaching on corals and other species in the community.
Introduction:
Corals are the aquatic invertebrate organisms inside which the algae or dinoflagellate protists live symbiotically. When the water temperature rises, the coral polyps expels the dinoflagellates living inside them due to which the corals turn white. This is known as coral bleaching.
