Introduction:

The urinary system is formed with six organs: two kidneys, two ureters, the urinary bladder, and the urethra. Non-keratinized stratified squamous epithelium has an appearance of multiple cell layers with cells becomingincreasingly flat and scaly toward surface, surface covered with a layer of compact dead cells without nuclei and basal cells may be cuboidal to columnar. It is commonly found in locations such asTongue, esophagus, anal canal and vagina, which requireresistance to abrasion and penetration by pathogenic organisms.
