Summary Introduction
To differentiate: A lytic cycle from a lysogenic cycle.
Introduction: Virus requires a living host to replicate. In bacteriophage, the virus attaches itself to the host and penetrates the DNA of the virus into the nucleus of the host. The viral DNA then uses the bacterial machinery to replicate. The virus replicates by two methods: lytic cycle and lysogenic cycle.
