To contrast: The viral infection in plants and animals, and identify the specific disease caused by viruses.
Introduction: Virus that kills the host cell and causes disease are called virulent virus. They follow the lytic cycle for replication. Pathogenic viruses cause serious diseases in both plants and animals. Some of the viruses also live as symbionts in the humans without harming them.
