Introduction:
The DNA contains all the genetic information in the form of nucleotide sequences (A, T, G, and C) and these informations are further expressed in the form of genes. The “gene” is decoded for synthesis of proteins by transcription and translation. The nucleotides adenine, cytosine, guanine, and uracil are found in RNA. They are organized into triplet codons. This collection of codons is termed as “genetic code”. The sequence of codon in a strand of DNA instructs the protein formation. The genetic code is a triplet code and three bases together codes for one amino acid.
