Sequence of DNA contineously repeating Is termed as satellite DNA. It consist of tandem repeat which may be very small containing only 1 -2 bp while it may be very large containing 10 − 60 bp.
Its smallest structure that is short tandem repeat known as mirco satellite while largest structure such as long tandem repeat known as mini satellite or VNTR.
