The protein function depends strongly on the shape of the molecule, but the protein function is affected by some agents that cause denaturation.

Introduction:

Proteins are macromolecules present in the biological system and it plays many important biological functions. Proteins are polymers of amino acid sequences and it exists in different structures such as primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary structures. This protein structure is denatured by some agents and leads to loss of its function and cell death.
