Introduction:

Bacteroides are the gram negative, which obligate anaerobic bacteria that can be either motile or non-motile. Bacteroides are the species, which makes a portion of the mammalian gastrointestinal tract. They are involved in the conversion of the large molecules into the small molecules in the human intestine. Bacteroides species obtain nutrition from the human gut.
