The genome of the rotavirus consists of 11 double-helix molecule of RNA. This virus is spherical in shape and contains glycoprotein.The virus is spread through contaminated food and water. This virus is a replicate in the gut region, and it infectsthe enterocytes of the small intestine. Rotaviruses A, B, and Care the common species thatcause the infection in humans. It damages the cells in the small intestine.
