Introduction:

Post-natal period is the period that starts after the birth of a baby and lasts till his or her death. It is divided into six phases of life. These phases include the neonatal phase, infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and senescence. A newly born baby is referred to the baby from its birth up to first four weeks. This period is the neonatal period. The newborn child must be able to perform respiration, digestion, excretion, and homeostasis.
