Introduction:
When a somite is formed, a region of it is determined to form the muscle cells. Scientists carried out experiments to know that what causes these cells to commit to their fate and form muscle cells. It was found out by subsequent research that a rare type of mRNA is produced by the proteins of myoblast which makes these somite cells to develop muscle. This rare mRNA was named as MyoD mRNA.
