These are essential amino acids because they are not formed inside the body and they are required in the diet. The non-essential amino acids are synthesized by the body thus, they are not required in the diet. The molecular formula of a general amino acid is as follows:
The amino and carboxyl group is same for all amino acid only the difference is in the r group.
