Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The human respiratory system has a group of organs that are involved in exchanges of the gases. The lungs are the principal organs of respiration. The lungs are large, spongy paired structures located in the thorax. Respiration is a physiological process where gases, especially oxygen and carbon dioxide from the air move into and out of the lungs. Both the inspiration and expiration depend on the volume of the given gases and also the varying pressure gradients between the lungs and atmosphere which is understood by various laws.
