Concept Introduction:

Cellulose is polysaccharide made of the number of glucose joined to each other in a sereis. It consists of monomer beta D-glucose cross linked to each other while starch can be straight or branched.

Cellulose is a complex structure in which number of glucose are linked to each other through glycosidic linkage which is quite complex to break down into simpler glucose molecule.
