Interpret the structure of triglyceride and components of triglyceride.

Concept Introduction:

Triglyceride is a type of fat present in blood stream which gets produced from the conversion of calories into it. The triglycerides are present in fat cells. It is a form of an ester which get produced from the combination of glycerol and fatty acid.

Monoglycerides consists of glycerol and 1 fatty acid, diglycerides consists of glycerol and 2 fatty acids and triglycerides consists of glycerol and 3 fatty acid.
