Diphtheria is a toxin-mediated deadly disease caused by Corynebacterium diptheriae. It is non-spore forming, Gram-positive, rod-shaped, pleomorphic bacteria. The infection of diphtheria starts with a constant sore throat, fever with extreme fatigue. After some days of infections neck of patients swells.
