The deep layer or deep sea is the lowest layer that found in the ocean. It is exists above the seabed and below the thermocline at the depth of 1000 fathoms or more. In this part of the ocean, light cannot penetrate. The survival of most of the organisms in this region for their subsistence is based on the organic matter generated in the photic zone.
