Introduction:

Charge is physical property of matter.When placed in electrostatic field experiences force.

There are two types of charges. Positive charge and negative charge. Unlike charges attract each other and like charges repel each other.

Take a positively charged object closer to B and T strip of tape simultaneously. The strip of tape which repelled is positive and the strip of tap which is attracted is either negative or neutral. Since two positive charges repel each other.

Conclusion:

The strip of tape is identified by bringing positive charged object closer to it.
