Concept Introduction:

Ribonucleic acid is the essential nucleic acid that is analogous to deoxyribose nucleic acid with the major difference being that of ribose sugar in place of deoxyribose sugar. There are three kinds of RNA namely messenger RNA, ribosomal RNA, and transfer RNA.

A concept map that depicts the relationship between DNA technologies, genetic engineering, DNA fingerprinting, their potential benefits to humanity, as well as the social and ethical concerns has to be drawn.

Concept Introduction:

The genetic engineers have concerns about the safety of the crops that are produced through genetic engineering.

Besides if the region beyond the target DNA sequence in the genome is altered the gene synthesized will have mutations that can be lethal. Hence scientists have concerns over the purposes served by genetic engineering.
