Case summary:

T organizes a plan of care to the Mr. L and the outcomes are evaluated. Mr. L was diagnosed with acute pain related to incisional trauma. The nursing intervention of T to Mr. L includes two doses of the analgesic ordered for every eight hours. After thirty minutes of the last dose, Mr. L pain is rated as 3 on a scale of 0 to 10. The outcome of the patient’s goal to achieve a pain relief is 4 or less. T takes time to give Mr. L discharge instruction that includes the standard care of T interventions.
