Introduction:

The largest veins of the body, namely superior and inferior vena cava empty or drain directly into the right atrium. The valves present in veins prevent the backflow of blood and enables it to flow in one specific direction. Certain veins are found inside the skin, and they are regarded as superficial veins because they are vital positions for taking blood during surgeries and clinical test purposes.
