Summary Introduction

Introduction:

An element is a substance that cannot be separated or converted into a simpler form. All matter in the environment is formed from a combination of different elements or same elements. An atom is the smallest unit of an element and each atom contains all the properties of that element. Atoms are composed of subatomic particles which include electrons, protons, and neutrons.
