The Freudian defense mechanism of repression and all instances of repressed memories of childhood abuse and the factors which influence such memories.

Introduction:

 Repression is the defense mechanism in which we removed bad memories from conscious awareness. It is the unconscious type of forgetting of painful memories.

 According to Freud, the memories of sexual abuse could be correct by psychoanalysis. But it was found that the effect of sexual abuse can lead towards anxiety, depression, and suicide.
