Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:The reversible expansion of two dial gas systems take place under the different conditions but the P and V is same. As expansion ends, the volume of both systems is same. For the system undergoing adiabatic expansion, the pressure is lower that of the system which undergoes isothermal expansion. The result needs to be explained without the use of equations.

Concept Introduction:

An adiabatic procedure is one which takes place so vastly that no heat transfer happensbetween the system, or within the system and surroundings. At constant volume or when no change in the volume of the system takes place and heat is added, the heat energy completely converts into the internal kinetic energy.
