The group’s acceptance of individual differences can be affected by the surface level diversity and deep level diversity as follows.
Introduction:
Surface level diversity: Differences that can be easily noticed among the individuals. However, these don’t necessarily portray the thoughts or feelings of the observed individuals.
Deep level diversity: These differences refer to more personal characteristics such as beliefs, values, attitude, personality, etc. These unlike the surface level, can only be determined when the group individuals get to know each other.
