Case summary:
As the medical science has continued to enhance longevity and vitality the average age of work force has increased. The elderly worker faced discrimination due to the stereotype that older worker are low performer. Although this stereotype is not accepted by many companies like Stanley Consultant who believes that elderly worker brings a higher level skill in job through the years of experience.
Also most of the elderly people are starting new business. They also opt out for more nontraditional role and embracing flexibility and work from home etc.
